I posted this elsewhere but add it here to show the math behind the usual advice to either max or ignore Improved LHW.
Chance of casting without an interrupt from 2 hits or 3 hits during a cast (simulating multiple assailants):
---------- 2 hits 3 hits
5/5 ILHW: 56% 42% Quite decent.
4/5 ILHW: 36% 22% Not so good.
3/5 ILHW: 20% 9% Why bother?
The more hits (with more or faster assailants) the longer the cast will take, if you live to cast it.
