New Servers; Good Laughs - 2005/07/25 13:19
Just for kicks, I rolled a Tauren Shaman on Kelecgos (the new PvP server) about 5 hours after it came out, and quickly progressed to being one of the top 20 characters on the server. Haven't touched it since... the whole new server thing actually ended up turning me off.
What made my day, though, was observing the classes. I actually rolled a Gnome Rogue to level 6 and then deleted it before making my Shaman, so I got a feel for what was happening on both sides.
Watching the classes being rolled, ALL you saw was:
Alliance - Warrior, Mage, Rogue
Horde - Warrior, Mage, Rogue, SHAMAN
Shaman was an especially good laugh as a Tauren, because - quite literally, you saw a ratio of (give or take) 10 Shaman:2 Warriors:1 Druid:1 Hunter.
I could have peed myself laughing.
I honestly hope Blizzard does something about this... I mean, I love the fact that I run a newly started end-game guild of almost 40 members and am the only Priest, but this is obnoxious. This game will only have 4 classes if this keeps up. o_O
