Re:Official CT_RaidAssist thread - 2005/06/28 07:28 Everybody and their Worg Pup is talking about this mod... is it worth getting? I haven't heard a concrete explanation, and all the screenshots I've seen look like crowded messes that wouldn't do much of anything except maybe against Onyxia... and you still have to pick people within your range to heal, so...

Discuss?

Re:Official CT_RaidAssist thread - 2005/07/18 04:27 Most of guilds that do the 40 man raids require it (partly because you lag everyone in the raid if you dont have the latest version of it) on Ner'Zhul. I think it's worth it for the Resurrection and Emergency Monitors, and the dispel notifyer. Although, I havent really used any of the other mods listed on this site (just found it today ). I think I'll try out the uberpriest one tonight.

Re:Official CT_RaidAssist thread - 2005/10/05 04:35 I deleted CT Raid Assist for one reason, the mana efficiency thing. Because of server lag, this thing is bad news. It was aborting my flash heal spells when the tank was at down 3k hp. We almost wiped on Domo because it kept aborting my heals. I had it turned off, but for some reason it kept doing it. I even tried messing with it, changing around the options, like hp% at 99 and the time check at .1 sec to try to make it stop, but it kept doing it. I just use Blizzard's raid list now.

I would love to use CT Raid Assist again, but I'm not installing it unless it's taken out.

Re:Official CT_RaidAssist thread - 2006/02/01 20:58 For those few who have had trouble with manaconserv it is now possible to turn off compleatly, however that function is one of the best provided by the mod.

CTRA is a great mod since it gives you access to:

Manaconserv: Aborts most heals that would have resulted in an overheal.

Healthbars: For all members of the raid, adjustable to make it easy to see who is defuffed with what for easy access to dispell it.

MT Targets and TargetsTarget: Making it easy to see who has agro and following the events of the battle.

Emergency Monitor: A list of the 5 raidmembers with the lowest amount of health in the raid, very useful in a few fights.

/rs s: An easy way for the raidleader to clearly send a message to the raid when it is likely that not everyone will be reading the raidchat with 100% consentration (all the friggin' time )

Readychecks: Simple way for the raidleader to see who is ready to engage combat, or who is afk.

Other Inqueries: Making it possible to check who in the raid has certain items with them, can be consumeables, aqual quintessence or whatever. Can also check the resistances of raidmembers and their durability status.

This is not all, there is more built into this amazing addon, the thing is however that many of the functions require all in the raid to use the addon to function at all, others become very unreliable. This is the reason that most guild require you to use this addon. However, even if the only raids you are participating in are pick up raids to Stratholme/Scholomance this addon is WAY better than the raidinterface that is built into the game.

Go download it now.

Re:Official CT_RaidAssist thread - 2006/02/17 03:21 Does anyone know where to get some good instructions on how to set this mod up? I have several guildies that say they don't know where to start.

Thanks in Advance.
