+healing for pally? - 2006/06/27 11:12 im a little confused about all this +healing, i know 3.5 secs is 100% from the bonus.
but how does it work for a paladin?
my pally has +650 healing, flash of light seems to give some times 100-300 bonus, but i have rank 9 holy light and some times it heals for less than the base value of the spell, 1900 is rough base. does the pally +healing work in the same kinda way?
we also dont have a 3.5 sec healing spell. the only time i can see this bonus take effect is when i pull a huge holy light crit for 4500 heal.
can some one please try to explain how +healing works on a pally?

Re:+healing for pally? - 2006/07/10 10:08 It's quite easy.
As you say 3.5 sec heals gain 100% of +healing, and scales from there.
Thus; every 0.5 sec faster the spell is cast 1/7th or aprox 14,3% of the +healing is reduced from the bonus.
That gives us:
FoL, 1,5sec cast: 3/7th (42,9%) of +heal
HL, 2,5sec cast: 5/7th (71,4%) of +heal
Thus; +650 healing = +279FoL and +464HL
